Dragon Wok to replace Grand Village Buffet in East Peoria

EAST PEORIA — The former Grand Village Buffet will continue its Oriental theme with another restaurant on the site.

Signs on the building indicate that a new restaurant labeled a Chinese-American eatery, Dragon Wok, will soon open at 206 W. Camp St.

Grand Village Buffet closed earlier this year. A sign from the former owners remains on the door, announcing their retirement after 30 years and thanking patrons for their business.
