Lynne A. Ochs

Lynne A. Ochs, 74, of Peoria, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Hallmark Healthcare in Pekin.

She was born on February 22, 1950, in Peoria to John and Phyllis Wenzel. Lynne was preceded by her parents; sister, Becky Shinall; husband, Steve; and son, Michael Ochs.

Surviving Lynne are her son, Robert Ochs of Peoria, IL; grandson, Alex Ochs of Washington, IL; nephew, Tony (Aimee) Shinall; and several cousins.

Lynne worked at the Peoria County Courthouse for 35 years as a felony court clerk. She enjoyed hosta gardening, spending time with friends and family, rooting for her beloved Chicago Cubs and spoiling her cats.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Wilton Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to any animal rescue of the donor’s choosing.
